Much research indicates that it is the relationship between us that is the most effective aspect of our work. So it is vital that you feel safe with me and the initial session offers you an opportunity to get a sense of whether you wish to proceed or not. I will ask various questions about you in order to gain an overview to enable me to evaluate whether, and how best, I may offer you support. Please feel free at any stage to ask any questions that you may have. If we do decide to proceed together, then we will set an agreed time and date for subsequent sessions.
